Ken Kline
Line Service Manager
Ken spent 30 years at Lambert St. Louis International Airport fueling everything from BAE Jetstreams to Boeing 747’s. He has been working the line at Mt. Vernon Outland Airport for nearly 15 years. Ken comes from a multi-generational farming family and is no stranger to hard work and service. He is currently on duty Wednesday through Saturday.
Danny Jewel
Line Service Technician
Danny is no stranger to aviation as his father owns and flies a PA28. His enthusiasm landed him at Mt. Vernon Outland Airport in 2014 where he interacts aircraft owners, pilots, aircrew members, and passengers daily. Outside of aviation, Danny is a talented carpenter. Danny is on duty every Monday and Tuesday.
Jakob Brooks
Line Service Technician
Jakob comes to Mt. Vernon Outland Airport from the town of Noosa Heads, located along the Sunshine Coast of Australia. He is a world-renowned Martial Arts Instructor teaching in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Jakob’s accent is a rarity to hear over a Unicom Frequency, but is quickly matched airside by his friendly personality. Jakob can be found working line service each Sunday at KMVN.
